As members worked on their projects, forthcoming events were discussed. Members were asked to vote for their preferred organisation to receive a donation from the Exhibition Raffle funds. Anyone interested in visiting the NEC or wishing to take part in the future workshops was asked to add their name to the circulating lists. Several items for the Tombola stall were displayed. The Summer Social would be a ‘Bring and Share’ plate of something savoury or sweet. Jo had kindly arranged for her husband to bring his ice cream van that had proved such a success last year.

Thanks go to the ladies who rallied around in the kitchen, providing tea and coffee.

Whilst members worked on their individual projects we had the opportunity to look at items that had been made ready for the Exhibition Tombola. It was noted that last time the gifts had run out by Sunday lunchtime so it was hoped that more would be donated this time.

Discussions took place regarding the Raffle donation but as there were so few members present it was agreed that an email be sent offering all members the opportunity to record their vote.

Any member still wishing to add their name to the list for the trip to the NEC in July was asked make known their interest as soon as possible in order for the coach to be booked. The trip had now been opened to outside groups.
