That time of year had once again arrived, when members brought along a selection of savoury and sweet items to share. The evening was then spent talking and chatting whilst enjoying the refreshments.
There was much anticipation when we heard the bell announcing the arrival of the ice cream van and members quickly queued up ready to enjoy one of Neil’s lovely creamy cornets.
After we had enjoyed our supper and ice cream a simple quiz caused much discussion and amusement. There were some very good results with members on the winning table each receiving a small prize.
Everyone agreed it had been a very enjoyable evening and our thanks went to everyone for the delicious refreshments, to Sally and Jane for the summer drinks and a very special thanks to Jocey and her husband Neil for providing the ice cream treat.
